Hitched! Sara and Scott

Sara and Scott were married on the 9th of November. You may remember their engagement photos which were taken at the arboretum earlier this year! This wedding was incredible. Sara and Scott are such fun, down-to-earth people and their wedding was perfectly suited for them. And, I should admit, I was totally jealous when they left for their wine-filled honeymoon in Napa. How perfect does that sound?

Ceremony: Lake Forest Park Presbyterian Church
Reception Site & Catering: Inglewood Golf Club
Cake: Artisan French Bakery (Mill Creek, WA)

Sara was absolutely breathtaking.

I love this shot of one of the bridesmaids getting a little emotional when Sara's transformation to bride was complete.

This is one of my favorite shots of the whole wedding. I love her smile!

Walking down to meet her groom.

Sara and Scott are such a beautiful couple. They are so comfortable with each other and it really made their photo session comfortable and easy.

Sara and her dad were practicing their dance before the ceremony. I love the expressions in this shot.

I snuck outside to give the couple some space and snapped this through the doors. I think one of the true joys of wedding photography is capturing moments the couple would love to remember and don't know you're photographing.

Time to get married! The church had a strobe light facing directly at the alter, which made processional shots a challenge. Luckily, that intense light worked really well in black and white conversions.

I think they look like such a Hollywood couple in this recessional shot.

Ben got this shot, which absolutely takes my breath away.

At one point during the reception the whole crowd went totally wild, cheering and hollaring. When I raced over, I saw this grandma absolutely boogying down to "American Woman" by Lenny Kravitz, walker and all! It was one of the best things I've seen in a long, long time.
