Since he's all I'm taking pictures of these days, I thought I'd share some photos of our new son, Henry. The transition to parenthood is going well, and we're really enjoying getting to know our baby. Enjoy the photos!

Outta here!
Well, my devoted blog readers, I'm outta here! Not for good, of course, but until the 8th of August. Hubby and I are so jealous of all our wedding couples going on honeymoons, so we decided to take one ourselves! We're off to Mexico for some fun with his family followed by six days of beach fun in Playa del Carmen.
I won't have phone or e-mail access, so you'll have to be patient until the 8th.
Have a fabulous ten days, and I'll be back with photos!

Personal Shots from the 4th of July
We had a lovely holiday yesterday. We spent the day split between two BBQ's, enjoying the sun, our family & friends and great food. Here are a few shots I grabbed throughout the day.
A family member, Caelen.
My husband Ben, and his good friend Ben.
Another family member, Anika.
A portrait of Ben.
Me and my Mom.
My dear friend Erica, an avid reader of this blog!
Anika again.

Behind the Scenes
As I was editing Doh and Dennis' wedding photos, I found these two random shots. It seems like at every wedding there's an instance where, for checking light purposes, either I shoot my assistant (husband) or he shoots me. Too funny not to share.
He's not a second shooter, but he looks like he could be! Love the funny faces... they help calm my nerves!

Trip Pics
This weekend, I headed with my husband and family to Washington State University, where my brother will be attending in the fall. I had never been to Pullman before, and really enjoyed photographing the arid, sweeping landscape. The campus itself was really beautiful. I'm a sucker for two things in photography: brick and modern architecture. WSU provided both, so my shutter was a clicking. Enjoy!

My Life
It's rare I find time to shoot solely for pleasure, so when I do, it's a real joy. Here is a sampling of the shots I've taken over the past few months in my spare time.
