The Ampoan Family

Saturday I had a super fun shoot with the Ampoan family. I knew they were up for a good time when they suggested doing photos on the South Lake Union Trolley! I had yet to ride it, so was really looking forward to it. What I loved about this group of people is how laid-back they were and how much fun they had with the camera! Made for some really energetic photos that I hope they will treasure for a long time to come.

Enjoy!

We met at the Lake Union Park. I grabbed this shot before we all met up.

On the trolley itself!

Aren't Maebelyn and Belle beautiful?!

I love how hard Belle was laughing in this shot.

The Dobson Family

Phew! The holiday madness has finally subsided! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday full of warmth and family. And how cool that we even got a dusting of snow! :)

Before the holiday I photographed the Dobson family at their home in North Seattle. Their daughter, Amelia, was definitely the star of the show - and so dang cute! She will have to soak up that lime lite now though, as she has a little brother on the way in April! In fact, Jill and I are due just weeks apart.

Amelia was so full of personality! This is what I got when I asked her to "pose" for me. It's always fun to see how little ones interpret "posing".

'Tis the Season for Family Photos!

Yesterday I met up with Dana and her extended family out in Lake Tapps, WA. Her parents-in-law built their house and have lived on Lake Tapps for 28 years! We had a great time, and I was just smitten with the two littles ones, Penelope and Beatrice.

This is Penelope, also called Penny (one year old).

And her big sister, Beatrice, also called Bea (3 years old).

After all the family photos we had to split people up and get nice couple shots.

Merry Christmas! The Brooks Family

'Tis the season for family photos! Last weekend I met up with the Brooks family at their home in Kirkland for some holiday shots. Aren't they a great looking group?

Katie and Campbell were so dang cute together, despite the fact they were supposed to be in the group shot when they ran over to sit on this stair! :)

Cousins!

The ones who started it all, Doug and Alice.

The Cruver Siblings

The best part of my job is that I get to spend hours at a time with some of the kindest, warmest folks out there. Sunday was no exception! One of my favorite former brides, Nicole, contacted me to do a photo shoot with her siblings to give as Christmas gifts. We were initially planning on shooting at the Olympic Sculpture Park but, well, those of you in Seattle last weekend know why it didn't work out! Slushy, snowy rain? No thanks. So we opted for the Seattle Public Library (Central Branch) instead. We had a blast, and were able to stay dry in the process!
